23-year-old Kodi Scott of Hooks, Texas was killed when the motorcycle he was operating slid up under a pick-up truck and trailer that was turning into a driveway off of CR 2148 in Bowie County.
Reports state that both vehicles were traveling west on 2148 and the pick-up was turning into a driveway. The motorcycle ridden by Scott left obvious skid marks before crashing into the truck and trailer.
According to the GoFundMe page set up to help is young wife and 3 small children Kodi suffered many traumatic injuries in the accident,
“…2 broken legs, ruptured spleen, hip, tailbone, and pelvis while in critical condition he had to be air lifted to little rock for the surgeries to repair the broken bones and he didn’t make it.”
Scott was transported to a local hospital, then airlifted to Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock where he was pronounced dead.
Kodi Scott is survived by his wife and 3 young children. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help his family with expenses.
