Lace-up your running shoes and grab your family for a vibrant event supporting two vital organizations in the community. The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center (TCAC) are thrilled to announce their joint effort, the Colorful 5K & Family Fun Run, scheduled for April 20th at Trinity Baptist Church.
The event promises a morning filled with fun and fitness for all ages. On-site registration opens at 8:00 a.m., with the Kids Run kicking off at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Adult Run at 9:00 a.m. Participants registering by April 5th are guaranteed a commemorative T-shirt, ensuring they’ll have a colorful memento of the occasion.
Registration fees are $30 for adults and $10 for children aged 5-18. Every penny raised will directly benefit CASA and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center, supporting their crucial work in advocating for children in need.
