Miller County Deputies arrested two men over the weekend after finding them stopped along the roadside in possession of a little over two grams of methamphetamine.

    Press release:

Miller County Deputies arrested two men for Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Friday night.

At approximately 7:37pm, Deputy Rowdy Green came into contact with Brad Wooten, 36, and Robert Martinez, 28, of Miller County on County Road 11.  Wooten and Martinez were stopped on the side of MC11 at the time of the encounter.  Lt. Billy Bohannan and Deputy Darrel Klink responded to the location to assist Deputy Green during the encounter.

Deputies determined that the driver of the vehicle, Wooten had a suspended driver’s license.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed approximately 2.2g of suspected methamphetamine, along with two syringes, one of which was loaded with suspected methamphetamine.

Both Wooten and Martinez were arrested and transported to the Miller County Detention Center where they were booked on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  All evidence was submitted to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
