The Bowie County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information in the investigation of a rash of vehicle burglaries that occurred on the night of December 16 and the early morning hours of December 17. Here is how you can help.

    Press Release:

During the night hours of 12-16/17-2021, many residents of Bowie County were victims of vehicle burglaries. Every vehicle that was targeted was left unlocked and often had valuable items inside. There are at least two suspects and many of the homes had video surveillance footage that is being utilized to identify the persons responsible for these crimes. If you have video footage of the suspects from the dates of 12-16/17-2021, please contact the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office at 903.798.3158 and we will make arrangements to obtain that video.
The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office would ask that you please make every effort to secure your valuables out of sight and lock your vehicle doors. This small effort would greatly reduce the chances of you being targeted by these individuals.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
