A very tragic start to Father’s Day in Texarkana Texas. Shaun Paxton, 42, has been arrested in connection to the murder of his father, and his mother is currently in critical condition. Police are on the scene at Skyline Drive investigating.
One man is dead, and a woman is in critical condition after receiving multiple stab wounds. The couple’s 42-year-old son, Shaun Paxton is currently in custody charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault.

We are on the scene investigating a murder at a home in the 3600 block of Skyline Drive at 1:30 this morning. We’re still working on figuring out the details of exactly what happened, but a man died at the home and his wife is in critical condition at Christus St. Michael Hospital with multiple stab wounds.
The couples’ 42 year old son was arrested at the scene for Murder and Aggravated Assault.
