T.T.P.D. continues to investigate the death of an unidentified woman whose body was discovered on Friday morning my people mowing grass at the abandoned building where the woman’s remains were found.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department continues to investigate the death of an unidentified woman, whose body was found on August 12, 2016.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a found body behind a vacant building in the 3100 block of South Lake Drive at approximately 10:30 last Friday morning. The woman’s body was discovered by mowers who were working on the property. Based upon the condition of the body, it is believed that it had been there for some time.
While no foul play is suspected at this time, detectives continue to investigate the death. The body was sent to Dallas for an autopsy to determine a cause of death and hopefully provide some clues to her identity.
