The Liberty Eylau Volunteer Fire Department had to deploy the Jaws of Life to remove a man from the wreckage of his pick-up truck in a one vehicle accident overnight.
The accident occurred near 1:00 a.m. Friday morning on Highway 59 at Loop 151 when a pick-up truck struck a light pole at the well lit intersection. The driver was removed from the vehicle and taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police continue to investigate the crash.
