Here is our weekly rundown of live music and entertainment in Texarkana for the weekend, and this is a big one. National recording artist Frank Foster is in town, so is Red Dirt giant, Stoney Larue. Check out the entire list here.
A few things to note for this weekend, on Saturday, March 5 it is the special needs prom to benefit Runnin’ WJ Ranch. Volunteers are needed and it is one of the most wonderful experiences you could imagine.

Also on Saturday, March 5 at Silvermoon on Broad, it is the 16th annual “Wine & Jazz Gala” for Harvest Regional Food Bank from 7 pm to 9 pm with live music from Candace Taylor & Trio.
Once more, Saturday, March 5 is the end of an era with the closing of Cattleman’s Steakhouse after 58 years in Texarkana. Many of us grew up eating at that restaurant. We send a big congratulations to Joe Oliver on his retirement and wish the best for Cash Oliver in his new venture.
