Local Police Warn of Vehicles Being Stolen for ATM Burglaries

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has issued a warning to residents of vehicles being targeted for theft to use in ATM Burglaries. Here are the details…

    Press Release:

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department wants to get the word out to the community
about stolen vehicles. We want to remind everyone how important it is to not leave your keys
in your vehicle or just leaving your vehicle unlocked. If your vehicle is unlocked, criminals
can have access. They can steal items from the inside, or it can lead to your vehicle being
    stolen.

Recently Ford and Chevrolet half ton trucks have been targeted at local Hotels and apartment
complexes. Once these types of vehicles are stolen, they have been used to target ATMs
without the anti-theft crossbar attachments. There have been cases where a truck was stolen
from our city, and later used in another town to target an ATM.
We want everyone to be aware of what is happening and remind everyone of what we all can
do by locking our vehicles and lowering vehicle thefts.

If you have any questions you can contact, please call us at (903)-798-3130 or reach out to us
    on our Facebook Page.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
