The SCCA Arkansas Region (ARSCCA) is bringing high-octane excitement to Southwest Arkansas with “Bandit’s Run: The Stateline Challenge (SCCA Solo)”, set for Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the newly established autocross venue, Hope Municipal Airport.
Two Days of Autocross Action
-
Saturday, September 13 — Fun Run Day
A relaxed warm-up where drivers get eight timed runs, the chance to swap cars, and the freedom to just enjoy the course without points on the line. Perfect for sharpening skills or simply getting seat time. -
Sunday, September 14 — Solo Event 8
The competitive side of the weekend. Drivers again get eight timed runs, but this time every cone counts as points go toward the 2025 season championship. No car swapping allowed—this is where bragging rights are earned.
Novice-Friendly Atmosphere
Each morning kicks off with a guided course walk, and on Sunday, a novice coach will be assigned to every run group to ride along and offer feedback. First-timers can even register their car class as “I Don’t Know” and get help with placement before race day.

A Challenge Worth the Run
Billed as “Bandit’s Run: The Stateline Challenge”, the event combines a laid-back Saturday of fun runs with a fiercely competitive Sunday of championship racing. Whether you’re a newcomer looking to dip into autocross or a seasoned driver chasing points, Hope Municipal Airport is set to echo with horsepower, tire squeal, and plenty of southern racing spirit.

(I think I get it, Bandit Run, Smokey and the Bandit and all of that, but there aren’t any trans ams I can find set of for SCCC Solo rules. Still, gonna be fun!)
