    Arrest Made in Overnight EZ Mart Robbery

    Around midnight Tuesday a man walked into the EZ Mart store on 9th Street and I-49 with a machete and demanded that everyone get down on the floor. He was unsuccessful in his attempt to rob the store and fled on foot.

    It is believed that a family member shot and killed 31-year-old Aaron Kidd inside a home on Cleveland Street in Texarkana Arkansas this afternoon. Darryl Kidd was found dead in the front yard of the home with what police believe is a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
