The westbound I-30 exit for Pleasant Grove Road and Kings Highway (exit 218) is scheduled to be closed for about four hours on Tuesday afternoon starting at noon. TxDOT is going to examine the existing under-drain near the ramp.
If you normally use this exit, you will need to use the University Avenue exit off of Interstate 30 instead. If you are travelling north on Interstate 369 and need to get to either of these roads, you should take the University exit right after the flyover and stay on the service road.
TxDOT says that the time frame is only an estimate, and it probably won’t take the whole four hours to complete the inspection. However, if you are headed that way during these times, it might be a good idea to go ahead and use the alternate exits just to be on the safe side.
