On December 15th, this man ran out the emergency exit at Academy Sports with two Yeti coolers and jumped into a dark-colored SUV that was waiting on him just outside the door. As the officer was finishing up this report, we received a call from Home Depot that a man had just ran out the emergency exit there with two Milwaukee drill combo sets. Again, there was a dark SUV driven by white male just outside the door waiting. He was on the phone the whole time that he was inside both stores – most likely with the driver. As suspected, it wound up being the same guy in both thefts.
