Runnin’ WJ Ranch to Begin Volunteer Training on Saturday August 27

For those that have thought of volunteering at the Runnin’ WJ Ranch in Texarkana Texas, training for new volunteers will take place Saturday August 27 and on Monday August 29.

Runnin’ WJ Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center is in search of caring individuals age 14 or older to donate time helping children and adults with disabilities. Runnin’ WJ needs Horse Leaders and Barn Help. For those with a little more experience around horses, they need help with people to lead, groom, and tack horses for sessions. For those that have a little less experience, there is a big need for sidewalkers to help and interact with the rider during session.

New Volunteer training/orientation will happen at the ranch located at 4802 S. Kings Highway Saturday August 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Monday August 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., but of course the ranch is in need of volunteers year round. If you can volunteer, one hour a week is what will be required and can be worked around your schedules.

Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference in another person’s life.
