I remember as a kid, a number of nights that Mama made us where our clothes, “just in case”. The Texarkana area will see more rain and the potential for some areas of the Ark-La-Tex to experience severe weather during overnight hours Wednesday, April 17 thru Thursday, April 18.
Remember these Severe Weather Safety Tips
The most severe weather that was forecasted for Texarkana has been adjusted a little west and north to set sights focused a little more toward SE Oklahoma but forecasted for most of NE Texas, SE Oklahoma, and SW Arkansas. However, thunderstorms will move through and all will present the threat of Flash Flooding, High Winds, and being in the night time just makes it worse.
As day breaks on Thursday and the atmosphere begins to heat up, this system will present a strong tornado threat to the Ark-La-Miss area but leaving us in just a slight chance for Thunderstorms.
