State Bank based out of DeKalb, Texas with locations in DeKalb, Clarksville, and Texarkana will be adding a couple of more branches with the acquisition of two buildings left vacant when Capital One closed multiple branches.
Bowie County Citizens Tribune reports that State Bank CEO Joe Nichols announced that they have signed a contract to pick up a couple of the Capitol One buildings from branches that closed earlier this year. Based on completion of due diligence, and regulatory approval State Bank will reopen buildings on Texas Boulevard, and at the intersection of Kings Highway and Highway 82 in Nash, Texas. Nichols was quoted as saying,
The Texarkana community has received us well since we entered the market in 2013. We can’t wait to be Nash’s bank, too”.
