T.A.P.D. Arrest Two for Breaking and Entering Vehicles

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department arrested two men in the Pinson Park neighborhood after a homeowner called 911 to report two men on bicycles were breaking into his vehicle. Police believe the suspect had struck multiple victims that night.

The Texarkana AR Police Dept. arrested Eric Williams and Kyle Richard, both 20 years of age, for Breaking or Entering/Vehicle and Fleeing in the Pinson Park area. The arrest took place during the morning hours of 09/21/17, after a resident called 911 stating two subjects on bicyles were breaking into his vehicle. Patrol responded and took both into custody after they fled on foot.

Subsequent investigation revealed Richard and Williams likely visited several residential areas in the vicintiy looking for unlocked vehicles. It is believed there are many more victims that have not yet come forward.

We would also like to remind everyone to lock your vehicles. In this instance, like many others, if a vehicle is locked, the suspects moved on to another vehicle. The Texarkana Police Dept. encourages everyone to take their part in deterring crime.
