The Texarkana 911 system experienced an hour long outage this afternoon. While the system was down, all calls were routed through New Boston and zero calls were missed.
At 3:15 p.m., Central Records and Communications Manager Kevin Sanders informed us that the 911 system was having an issue and calls were being rerouted through New Boston Texas. After about one hour we received word that the system was working properly.
