Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in the area of East 32nd and Laurel Street, according to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD).
Officers were dispatched to the scene on April 25, 2025, and upon arrival, found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
Initial investigations determined that the suspect fled the area on a bicycle to an unknown location. Officers with TAPD’s Criminal Investigation Division responded to process the scene and collect evidence.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and further details have not been released. Authorities are urging anyone with information—especially residents or businesses with camera footage from the area between 12:20 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.—to contact Sergeant Freeman at 903-798-3154.
