The Texarkana Texas Police are searching for John Easley, 43. He is suspected of running his estranged wife over with a pick-up truck. Easley also has an outstanding warrant for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Duty to Register.
We’re looking for John Easley, 43, for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
About 9:30 last night, we responded to a disturbance call in the 2700 block of Charlotte Street. When we got there, we discovered that Easley had ran over his estranged wife with his black Nissan pickup truck and fled the scene. The victim was transported to Wadley Regional Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries. Thankfully, while she is pretty banged up, she is expected to make a full recovery.
After interviewing witnesses and completing his initial investigation, Detective Warren Smith got an arrest warrant for Easley last night for the assault. Easley already had a active warrant for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Duty to Register.
