Episode 25 of “Texarkana Talks” features longtime local lawman, and current TTPD Public Information Officer, Shawn Vaughn. For more than 30 years, Shawn has served the community of Texarkana, and we wanted to know more about the man and his career.
Shawn is a wonderful asset to the Texarkana Community. Having retired from a long career with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, having worked in all areas of the department, Shawn joined the Texarkana Texas Police Department as public information officer.
We learn a lot about him and his life. A lot about the inside workings of our local police departments, also.
Over the many years, public relations have changed drastically, but the TTPD social media platforms do really well, and we discuss some of what has led to that success… and a lot more!
