Get ready to let the good times roll as Texarkana gears up for its 2025 Mardi Gras Celebration, “Beads on Broad,” set to take place on Saturday, March 1st. This free, family-friendly event promises a full day of festivities, bringing the community together with live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, and an exciting parade led by Texarkana Harley-Davidson riders.
The fun kicks off at 10 a.m. when the Front Street Plaza opens to the public, offering a variety of food trucks, local vendors, and activities for all ages. Music lovers can enjoy an electrifying lineup, starting with Heavy Letdown performing live on Broad Street at 1 p.m. Later, DJ Hollygrove will take over at 3 p.m. to set the stage for the main event—the highly anticipated Mardi Gras Parade at 4 p.m.
Following the parade, revelers can continue the celebration with a performance by Stevie Ray & The Deacon, keeping the party atmosphere alive well into the evening. For those looking to extend the night, the official after-party kicks off at 8 p.m. at Crossties, featuring LA Jay & The Zydeco Backwood Boys along with DJ Mac D.
This lively community celebration is made possible through the support of the City of Texarkana and is completely free to attend. Whether you’re looking to catch beads from the parade, dance to live music, or enjoy delicious Cajun cuisine, “Beads on Broad” promises a festive experience for all. Mark your calendars and join the fun on March 1st!
