The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department reports that a 2-year-old Texarkana Arkansas boy received a gunshot wound to the head has been airlifted to Little Rock, Arkansas in critical condition.
Around 6:00pm this evening T.A.P.D. responded to the 6000 block of Summerwood Lane in reference to a 911 call of a shooting. Upon officers arrival they found the victim, a 2 year old boy, was enroute by Life Net to St. Michaels for a gunshot wound to the head. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim found a gun inside the residence and one shot was discharged.
At this time the victim has been airlifted to Little Rock Arkansas for life threatening injuries.
AT 9:30 P.M. – the child is still alive and doctors are working on him,
