Wednesday, November 11 is Veteran’s Day in the United States. A day to honor those that have served our country. In appreciation, many businesses offer discounts, specials, and in some cases, freebies.
Be sure to call ahead and check with your local restaurant or businesses to see if they’re participating and what proof of service is required.

Free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage. Veterans and active military receive a free Bloomin’ Onion and Coke on November 11.

Veterans and active military eat free on Wednesday 11.11.20 (Limit $20).
Golden Corral
From November 1 – November 30, 2020, all active and former military members can pick up a free “thank you meal” promotional card that’s good for one free lunch or dinner buffet and beverage. The promotional card can be used Monday – Thursday after 11 am from November 1 – May 31, 2021. One promotional card per person.
Red Lobster
Red Lobster offers a free appetizer or dessert from their select Veterans Day menu. Military ID required for the free offer.
Starbucks
On Veterans Day all active-duty military, veterans, and their spouses receive a free 12-ounce coffee.
Texas Roadhouse
All Veterans and Active Duty military will receive a free meal voucher in the parking lot from 11 AM to 2 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Wendy’s
Nationwide Wendy locations are offering veterans a free small breakfast combo with a valid military ID.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
During Military Family Appreciation Month Cracker Barrel will offer in-store specials on Veterans Day for military veterans and promotions throughout November to support military families in partnership with Operation Homefront. On 11/11, veterans can receive a free slice of Double Fudge Coca-Cola Cake with their meal.
Applebee’s
Active Duty Military and Veterans can select a free meal from a selected menu on Veteran’s Day. Military ID required.
Chili’s Grill & Bar
Active Duty Military and Veterans receive one complimentary meal from a selected veterans menu on Nov. 11.
Cicis Pizza
Veterans or active-duty military get one free Adult Buffett on Nov. 11
Denny’s
Active Duty Military and Veterans receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 5 AM to noon. Military ID required for Dine-In.

Active duty military can enjoy a free donut at Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide, no purchase necessary.
Academy Sports & Outdoor
Oct. 25 – Nov. 11, 2020, get 10% off at Academy. All active duty and reserve military members retired or discharged veterans (discharged includes honorable, under honorable condition, or general, dishonorably discharged will be excluded), and immediate family members (spouse and/or dependent children up to 18 years old) are eligible. First responders are eligible as well.
Bass Pro Shops
Veterans, Military, law enforcement, EMTs, and firefighters are eligible for the Hometown Heroes discount – 10% off (exclusions apply) most purchases (5% off firearms and ammo). Online verification or valid ID required for a discount. Valid from November 8-11, 2020.
Bed Bath and Beyond
25% off, valid now thru 11/11/20 – 11/14/20, veterans, active military, and military spouses. Military personnel can sign up online for the discount and the offer will be loaded to their My Offers wallet starting on 11/11.
