The Alzheimer’s Alliance Tri-State Area invites the Four States community to raise a glass and celebrate a decade of tradition at the 10th Annual Twice as Fine Texarkana Wine Festival, happening this Saturday, May 3, at Spring Lake Park from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
What began as a local fundraiser has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated spring events, drawing thousands of wine lovers, foodies, and art enthusiasts from across the area. The festival showcases Texas wineries, gourmet food vendors, local artisans, and live music — all in support of a vital cause: serving families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
The “Twice as Fine” experience lives up to its name, offering guests a one-day celebration of the senses. Attendees can sample and purchase some of the finest wines in Texas, enjoy delectable bites from gourmet food trucks and local restaurants, shop handcrafted goods from regional artisans, and kick back to the sounds of live music throughout the day.
“This festival is about more than wine,” said a spokesperson for the Alzheimer’s Alliance Tri-State Area. “It’s about bringing the community together to support a mission that touches so many families, while also celebrating local flavor, creativity, and fun.”
The festival draws a highly engaged, affluent audience of wine and food enthusiasts, making it a favorite for vendors and visitors alike. With its blend of culinary delights, artisan craftsmanship, and energetic entertainment, it’s become a signature event for Texarkana.
Admission to the festival is free, though wine tasting packages and commemorative glasses will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Alliance Tri-State Area, helping fund education, support services, and respite care for area families.
So whether you come for the wine, the music, the shopping—or all of the above—this Saturday promises to be Twice as Fine with wine.
