    2017 Veteran’s Day Parade is Saturday November 11

    Please make plans and encourage others to come downtown on Saturday, November 11 for the annual Veteran’s Day Parade, this year the theme is “Saluting the Women in the Military thru the Years”.

    The Texarkana Area Veteran’s Council will host Texarkana’s Annual Veteran’s Day Parade in downtown Texarkana on Saturday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m. The route will begin at East Broad and Hazel Streets.

    Area organizations, schools, clubs, churches and civic groups are encouraged to participate. Call 870.773.8279 or 877.824.4862 or Email usmcGreg@aol.com to request a position in the parade line-up or more information on how you can get involved.

    The theme for 2017 is “Saluting the Women in the Military Thru the Years”. Please come out, wave your flags, and show your support for our Veterans, past, present, and future.
