    47th Annual New Boston Pioneer Days – Schedule of Events

    Time for the 47th Annual Pioneer Days Festival in New Boston Texas. Here is your schedule of events for activities and entertainment, including the Johnny Lee and Exile concerts.

    Presented by the New Boston Texas Chamber of Commerce and running from August 16 to 19 at T&P Trailhead Pavillion, this is the 47th year for the Pioneer Days Festival.

    Wednesday, August 16
    Amusement Rides on the Festival Grounds from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

    Thursday, August 17
    Amusement Rides – Festival Grounds – 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
    Vendors, concessions, arts & crafts – Festival grounds – 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm
    Wild West Show – Festival Grounds – 6:30 pm & 8:00 pm
    Gospel Concert – First Baptist Church, 506 S McCoy – 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
    Terry Dorgan – Pavilion Main Stage – 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm

    Friday, August 18
    Amusement Rides – Festival Grounds – 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
    Vendors, concessions, arts & crafts – Festival grounds – 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm
    Wild West Show – Festival Grounds – 5:30 pm & 8:00 pm
    Johnny Lee & The Urban Cowboy Band – Pavilion Main Stage – 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm
    Firewater Band – Pavillion – 11:00 pm to 12:00 am

    Saturday, August 19 – Activities
    Pancake Breakfast – Fire Station #1 – 6:00 am to 9:00 am
    Volleyball Tourney – Behind Police Station – 8:30 am to Finish
    Vendors, concessions, arts & crafts – Festival grounds – 10:00 am to 11:30 pm
    Amusement Rides – Festival Grounds – 11:00 am to 12:00 am
    Archery Tag – 10:00 am to 12:00 am
    Pioneer Days Parade – Downtown New Boston – 10:00 am
    Antique Tractor Show – Festival Grounds – 10:00 am
    Turkey Shoot – Scout Lake on Hwy 82 – 11:00 am
    Car & Motorcycle Show – N. Ellis Street – 11:00 am
    Bunco Tournament – Chapel of Light – 11:00 am
    4-Wheeler Mud Race – North of Carnival Rides – 11:30 am
    Wild West Show – Festival Grounds – 11:30, 1:30, 3:30, 5:30 & 7:30 pm
    42 Tournament – Chapel of Light – 3:00 pm
    Cash Drawings – $500 (2) at noon and 6:00 pm, and $1,000 (1) at 9:00 pm

    Saturday, August 19 – Entertainment
    Locked & Loaded – Pavilion Main Stage – 11:00 am
    Trophy Husband – Pavilion Main Stage – 12:45 pm
    Marlon Sharp & Cowboys at the Cross – Pavilion Main Stage – 2:30 pm
    The Billion Dollar Blues Band – Pavilion Main Stage – 4:15 pm
    Exile – Pavilion Main Stage – 9:00 pm
    Firewater Band – Pavilion – 11:00 pm to midnight

    All day Saturday will also feature pony rides, amusement rides, knife forging demos, monster truck rides, bungee jumps and more, including that carnival food that we all love so much! For more information follow festival details on their Facebook Page.
