    7-24-2020 – Updated Texarkana COVID 19 Numbers

    Bowie County reports a total of 557 positive COVID-19 cases, with 259 recoveries and 35 deaths. Cass County reports a total of 105 cases with 50 recovered and two deaths. Miller County reports 385 total cases, with 312 recoveries and 2 deaths.

    Current active cases being tracked:
    Bowie County – 264
    Cass County – 53
    Miller County – 71
    TOTAL – 388

    You are strongly encouraged to use masks that cover your mouth and nose when in public spaces and do your best to practice social distancing. We must do our best to slow the spread of COVID 19. With hopes for a vaccine still far off and “herd immunity” not possible until mid-2121 at earliest predictions, it is up to each of us to do our part.

    TEXARKANA, TX— Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports a total of 557 positive COVID-19 cases, with 259 recoveries and 35 deaths. There are currently 264 active cases being traced in Bowie County.

    Cass County has a total 105 cases with 50 recovered and two deaths.  Cass County currently has 53 active cases.

    The Bowie County/Texarkana, Texas Joint Operations Center is still conducting contact tracing on positive cases, so if you test positive for COVID-19, or are a healthcare provider that conducts COVID testing, please notify the Local Health Authority at (903) 255-5560.

    Free COVID-19 testing will be offered at the Bowie-Texarkana Health Department at 902 W. 12th Street Texarkana, TX 75501 beginning Monday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. through Saturday for two weeks. Register at gogettested.com or on-site. No symptoms required. Call 903-255-5560 for questions about testing.
