74th Annual Four States Fair & Rodeo – All You Need to Know

Texarkana’s biggest event of the year is the Four States Fair & Rodeo, now in its 74th year. For 2018, the theme is “Fun Comes Home”. Here is everything you need to know to get the most out of this year’s Fair.

September 14 – 23, 2018 “Fun Comes Home” to Texarkana with the Four States Fair & Rodeo. If we know one thing that is fact, traffic is going to be congested, so give yourself extra time, and be patient.

Fair Gate admission this year is $7 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12, and kids under 5 are free and all even passes are good for admission into the fair… and FREE parking. Tickets are available at the Four States Fair Box Office or online at FourStatesFair.com.

9 am – Junior Beef Cattle Long Haired Judging
4 pm – Fair opens with Wrights Amusements on the midway.
6 pm – Texarkana Tractor Equipment Rodeo in the Entertainment Center
9:30 pm Steet Dance on the MHC Outdoor Stage

Saturday, September 15Texarkana Emergency Center Weekend
9 am – Junior Beef Cattle Short Haired Judging
10 am – Four States Fair & Rodeo Parade in downtown Texarkana
10 am – Four States Fair opens with Wrights Amusements
1, 3, 5, and 7 – Burt Fleming Chainsaw Artist
4 pm to 7 pm – Gospel Celebration on MHC Kenworth Outdoor Stage
7:30 pm – 28th Annual Demolition Derby

28th Annual Demolition Derby, show starts at 7:30 pm

Senior Citizen Day – Sunday, September 16

Seniors 55 and older receive free admission and free events in the Ida Lou Ames Home Arts Building

$1 Ride Day at the Fair – Monday, September 17
Presented by local Roadrunner Stores
Pay your gate admission, and every person can ride each ride for only $1 with stickers from area Roadrunner stores.

Back the Badge Day – Tuesday, September 18
First responders can show their ID/badge and receive free entry to the fair for them plus 3 others.

AG Learning Center – Everday
Educational exhibits, games, and activities for the kids. Don’t forget N.B. Finley’s Barnyard sponsored by Miller County Farm Bureau.

Farmer’s Bank & Trust Weekend – 9/21 to 9/23
Purchase your Farmer’s Bank & Trust armband at the Carnival Ticket Booth and receive unlimited rides for $30 per day.
