    8-21-2020 – Updated Texarkana COVID 19 Numbers

    These are the latest numbers from our local health authorities and the Joint Operations Center. Bowie County reports a total of 877 positive COVID-19 cases, with 414 recoveries and 56 deaths. Miller County reports 541 total positive cases with 507 recoveries and 5 deaths. Cass County has a total of 218 cases with 171 recovered and 9 deaths.

    Right now Bowie County is tracing 407 active cases, Miller County is following 29 active cases and Cass County has 38 active cases.

    CURRENT ACTIVE CASES IN TEXARKANA AREA – 474

    TEXARKANA, TX— Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports a total of 877 positive COVID-19 cases, with 414 recoveries and 56 deaths. There are currently 407 active cases being traced in Bowie County.

    Cass County has a total 218 cases with 171 recovered and nine deaths.  Cass County currently has 38 active cases.

    The Bowie County/Texarkana, Texas Joint Operations Center is still conducting contact tracing on positive cases, so if you test positive for COVID-19, or are a healthcare provider that conducts COVID testing, please notify the Local Health Authority at (903) 255-5560.
