One man is dead, and another in a local hospital after police were called to a domestic situation at Park Ridge Apartments on Price Lane. Upon arrival, police discovered Courtland Luckey, 40, with multiple gunshot wounds. Courtland was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Monday, April 27, 2020 at 8:30pm, Texarkana Arkansas Police responded to the 600
Block of Price Lane, Park Ridge Apartments, in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival
officers located Courtland Luckey, 40yoa, inside the apartment with multiple gunshot
wounds. Officers rendered first aid to Courtland but later died from his injuries on scene.Initial investigation revealed Courtland parked his vehicle away from the apartment complex
and walked up to the residence. Courtland then forced his way inside the residence and
began physically assaulting his estranged wife, Tynisha Luckey, and a male (48yoa) while a
using a blade weapon. Tynisha retrieved a firearm shooting Courtland multiple times.The male was transported by Lifenet to Wadley for severe injuries sustained by Courtland prior to
the shooting. There were 2 children inside the residence during the incident who were
uninjured.Once this investigation is complete the case file will be presented to the prosecutor’s office to
