The 9th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade will take place in downtown Texarkana on Monday, January 20, 2025, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Sponsored by Bridging The Gap Arkansas, this year’s parade is set to celebrate unity and community under the theme, “We Are Better Together.”
Organizers are encouraging local groups, businesses, and individuals to take part in the parade, with entries still being accepted. The event is an opportunity to honor Dr. King’s message of equality, peace, and togetherness while bringing the Texarkana community together for a day of celebration.
Following the parade, festivities will continue at Front Street Plaza with live music, food from local vendors, and activities for all ages. The day promises to be a lively and meaningful celebration of Dr. King’s enduring legacy.
