The Texarkana Texas Independent School District has made an adjustment to classroom hours for 2016 – 2017 school year. For some schools classes start earlier in the morning, and for others school ends later in the afternoon.
Recently enacted legislation requires an adjustment in school start and end times for this year.
First day of school will be Monday, August 22 and the last day of the school year will be moved up to Friday, May 26.
Classroom Times
Elementary: 7:50am – 3:10pm
Middle School: 7:50am – 3:10pm
High School: 8:25am – 3:25pm
Options Academic Alternative High School: 8:15am – 3:35pm
SDAEP: 8:00am – 3:30pm
TILC/ADAEP: 7:15am – 2:35pm
