The Miller County Sheriff’s Office reports that Michael Avila, 34, turned himself in at the Miller County Detention Center after being notified of a warrant for his arrest for Sexual Assault 4th Degree, a Class D Felony.

The Miller County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Michael Avila for Sexual Assault 4th Degree, a Class D Felony.
The Criminal Investigation Division began an investigation into Avila for alleged deviate sexual activity with someone less than sixteen (16) years of age. The investigation yielded evidence sufficient for a warrant to be issued by Judge Brent Haltom. Avila was notified of the warrant and surrendered to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office. Avila is currently being held at the Miller County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
