Law enforcement officers apprehended the suspect in the armed robbery of the Lakeway Country Store on Highway 59 in Texarkana.
The Lakeway Country Store was robbed on Thursday, March 15 around 2:30 pm. The suspect was armed with a pistol and demanded money. Less than 2 miles from the Lakeway Store a Liberty Eylau Independent School District Police Officer spotted the suspect’s vehicle and pulled him over at the EZ Mart store on Hwy 59 where he was taken into custody.
The investigation continues.
