The 74th Annual Four States Fair & Rodeo happens September 14 thru 23, and on Saturday, September 15 at 10:00 am the Four States Fair Parade will fill the streets of downtown Texarkana.
All of the area bands, floats, food and fun of the Four States Fair Parade is a tradition in Texarkana and will fill the streets of downtown. (I remember as a child, my mom would have my dad take his pickup downtown and park it in a good spot so that us kids could see well from the tailgate.)
It is a huge honor for me to co-host the 2018 parade television coverage with Ms. Fabienne Thrash from 103.9, the Pig. We will do the commentary for our good friends at KLFI-TV.
Here is the map for this year’s parade. This year it will be a straight shot down Broadstreet without the little detour around the Railfest area on Front Street.
