The Art on the Line Juried Art Show begins Saturday, February 5 at the 1894 Gallery in downtown Texarkana. Over 90 pieces will be displayed in person and online. We talked to Ms. Debbie for some more information.

    Media Release:

The Art on the Line Juried Art Show is almost ready to open at the 1894 Gallery, 105 Olive Street. Thanks to lots of hard working people we will open the doors to the show at 5 p.m. Saturday, February 5th and they will remain open until Saturday, March 5th at 4 p.m. during gallery hours. Lots of viewing time so make sure to come see the show and spread the word to your family and friends. We are excited for you to see this exceptional show of local and regional art.

The awards and reception will begin at 6 p.m. in Studio 71, upstairs at the 1894 Gallery, and the gallerys will close at 8 p.m. We will have light refreshments for you to enjoy as we present the awards and you view the show.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
