The City of Texarkana Texas will host “Bark at the Park” next to the Kylee Sullivan Dog Park on Saturday, October 21 at Spring Lake Park to provide free 3-year rabies vaccinations for pets and free city registration for Texarkana, Texas residents.

Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital will also be offering other vaccinations at a discount. 5 in 1, Bordetella, Cheristin, and others for only $15, and Micro-Chipping for only $30. Vendors will be on hand with many different products.

Dr, Stacey Swain Hendershott from Pleasant Grove Animal Clinic said this about the microchips,

We are using a google microchip. It doesn’t require yearly fees and this includes the registration fee. It is also a universal microchip that can be read my any scanner. Also, a cool feature about it is that the person who finds your pet can enter the microchip number into the google search bar to get info on your pet! So, this isn’t your average microchip

Bark at the Park will take place at the Pavilion near the Kylee Sullivan Dog Park inside Spring Lake Park on Saturday, October 21 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Free 3-year rabies vaccinations will be provided to all.

All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. For more information call 903.798.3535.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
