Kristi Bennett has been officially “pinned” as the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department Chief. In a ceremony of the official pinning at the Crossties venue in downtown Texarkana, her husband emceed the event and Mayor Allen Brown was on hand to make her appointment official.
With this appointment, Bennett becomes the first female in the history of Texarkana, Arkansas. The city was founded in 1874. Making this a historical occasion for the city.
