Bryce’s Cafeteria will be re-opening for lunch today at 11:00 A.M.. The management and staff of the restaurant worked diligently through the night to make corrections required by the Texas State Health Code, and have passed the re-inspection this morning with a score of 89.
We spoke to Ms. Lydia Lawrence and she had this to say,
We have worked extremely hard through the night and are pleased to announce that we will re-open at 11 this morning! We are still working diligently to correct issues noted in the inspection report on Wednesday and to comply with new state regulations. We received a score of 89 this morning and are free to open. We want the community to know that we take food safety very seriously! Bryce’s will continue to provide delicious fresh food at our restaurant and that we appreciate your support.
Bryce’s Cafeteria is a Texarkana Institution, and is listed with the Texas Historical Commission as a Historic Business Texas Treasure.
