National Recording Artists, Candlebox will perform at Crossties in downtown Texarkana on Thursday, March 24, with all of the crowd favorites of the 90s, but the band has new music from their latest album, “Wolves”. Get tickets now!

A great thing about Texarkana’s location, it puts us in place for some great opportunities at big shows in our little town. The thing is sometimes you have a while to plan but for a lot of shows, they are looking for a date between the bigger cities, but you don’t have a lot of time to promote them. On March 24 we are getting the rock band “Candlebox” between shows in OKC and DFW. Get your tickets HERE.

Candlebox was huge in the 90s, out of Seattle Washington, really blew up in 1993 with their self-titled debut album and hits like “You”, “Far Behind”, and “Change”. That album eventually went quadruple platinum. The band went on to release another 6 albums before breaking up in 2000. The band reunited in 2006 and has released more music, with their most recent work being their first studio album in five years, Wolves, which was released on September 17, 2021.

For those of us that followed the band from the beginning, this is still their most popular hit…

The Jimmy Wooten Band will open the show. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts at 7:00 pm.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
