The citizens of Maud Texas will be voting yes or no for liquor sales in the small east Texas community on May 6, 2017. Citizens collected enough signatures in November of 2016 to get the item added to the upcoming ballot. So we wanted to ask you, should alcohol be sold in Maud Texas? Sound off in our opinion poll!
Many small towns in Bowie County allow for the sale of Beer and Wine but if the citizens vote to allow liquor sales in Maud, they will be the only town in Bowie County that will allow the sale of liquor.
Along with the alcohol sales… on May 6 voters will fill also vote on 3 Alderman positions and name a new Mayor for the small town of just over 1,000 residents.
