The City of Texarkana Texas has issued a Boil Order for water used for drinking or cooking until further notice. Expect the order to remain in effect for 24 hours.

BOIL ORDER IN EFFECT
The City has issued a boil order for any water used for drinking or cooking until further notice. There is no need to worry about water used for other purposes, such as bathing.
Once the water pressure returns to normal later today, we will begin testing to ensure that the water quality remains at the normal high levels.
We anticipate that the boil order will remain in effect for at least 24 hours.
