Crossties breaks the rock’n’roll seal with 80’s glam tribute band LA Roxx in March but brings in the 90’s and 2000s huge with Buckcherry and Hinder in June. Just part of the many big shows planned for downtown Texarkana.

This will be the biggest rock show Texarkana has seen in a long time. Buckcherry and Hinder perform on Friday, June 25 at 7:00 pm inside Crossties in downtown. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 on day of show.

Buckcherry is out of Anaheim California, and first started putting out albums in 1995, but it wasn’t until a reformation of the band by lead vocalist Josh Todd and lead guitarist Keith Nelson in 2005 that produced their biggest track from the album “15”… “Crazy Bit*h”. That tune had them opening for Motley Crue and Kiss, before launching into their own headline shows.

The Oklahoma City rock band “Hinder” formed in 2001, and has undergone lineup changes but puts on a great show. Currently, the band is made up of lead guitarist Joe “Blower” Garvey, Mike Rodden on bass, original band member Cody Hanson on drums, Mark King on rhythm guitar, and newest member Marshal Dutton with lead vocals.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
