Attention, food enthusiasts! December 2nd is the date to circle on your calendars as Ceci’s Chicken N Waffles on Wheels, along with a fantastic lineup of vendors from across the four states region, is bringing a finger-lickin’ experience to town this Saturday, December 2.

The “ARKLATEX Food Festival” is not just about tantalizing taste buds; it’s also an opportunity to give back to the community. This year’s festival, happening at Bobby Ferguson Park on Saturday, December 2nd, from 11 AM to 8 PM, is the grand finale of 2023, and there’s a promise that 2024 will be off the charts.

The festival, known for its diverse culinary offerings, invites everyone to indulge in the delicious creations from Ceci’s Chicken N Waffles on Wheels and various food trucks that will converge from all across the four states region. Whether you crave savory or sweet, spicy or mild, there will be a truck ready to serve you the perfect dish to satisfy your cravings.

The event, hosted at Bobby Ferguson Park (3400 U of A Way, Texarkana, AR 71854), offers free admission to ensure that everyone can partake in the festivities. The organizers are encouraging attendees to spread the word, saying, “Tell a co-worker, tell a friend to tell a friend, and bring your family for a day filled with food and fun!”

However, this year’s festival is not just about enjoying good food; it’s also an opportunity to make a positive impact on the community. Festival-goers are encouraged to contribute to a coat donation drive to help those in need during the colder months. Donations can be made at the pavilion, providing a chance for attendees to give back to the local community.

As the aroma of delectable dishes fills the air, the “ARKLATEX Food Festival” aims to warm not only hearts but also bodies by ensuring that everyone has the chance to stay cozy during the winter months. Join the culinary celebration, make a difference, and savor the last bites of 2023’s grand finale, looking forward to an even more heartwarming and delectable experience in 2024.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
