The Texas Department of Public Safety reports that a Cass County man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on county road 1841 six miles east of Bivins, Texas.

TEXARKANA 04/18/2017 – AT 7:06 A.M., Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on FM 1841 in Cass County six miles east of Bivins, TX.
The preliminary information indicates that a Ford Escort traveling northeast on FM 1841 left the roadway striking a culvert in the ditch, before rolling.
The driver, David Shannon Young, 43 of Bivins, TX, was pronounced dead on scene.
