The images are disturbing and heartbreaking as inmate Michael Sabbie, 35, pleads with corrections officers at the Bi-State Jail in Texarkana for help. Sabbie repeatedly begs for help saying that he cannot breathe. The video is getting national attention as it has now been posted by the Huffington Post.

Sabbie, of Texarkana Arkansas had been placed in Bi-State custody on a domestic violence case after an argument with his wife on July 19, 2015. He was charged with third-degree assault on a household or family member, a misdemeanor charge.

The Bi-State Jail is run by a private company, LaSalle Corrections. In the study conducted by the Huffington Post, the Bi-State Jail is listed in two different cases of the Huffington Post Jail Deaths Report.

He received no medical assistance and after this altercation with corrections officers at Bi-State, Michael was left on the floor of his cell, where his lifeless body was discovered the next morning.

According to the Huffington Post, officers involved in this incident will face no criminal charges and will not be prosecuted.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
