A full weekend of fun is coming downtown with the “Do the Haven Hustle 5K & Car Show” event, benefitting Haven Homes of Texarkana, a local faith-based nonprofit serving men and women in the Four States who are struggling with drug abuse, alcoholism, and addiction.
The festivities kick off on Friday, September 19, with a Concert & Food Truck Event from 6–9 p.m. in downtown Texarkana.
On Saturday, September 20, the action starts early with the “Do the Haven Hustle 5K”, a 3.1-mile run through historic downtown, taking place from 8–11 a.m. Runners of all levels are welcome to join. At the same time, the Benefit Car Show will run from 8 a.m.–3 p.m., featuring classic cars, trucks, and hot rods.
All proceeds from the weekend’s events support Haven Homes, helping provide life-changing resources and recovery support to individuals and families across the community.
