This weekend brings a couple of unique events to Texarkana that should be fantastic. Beetles on the Boulevard, Texarkana Vs. Little Rock Food Truck Competition in downtown, and lots of live music.
Beetles on the Boulevard takes place Saturday, September 18 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, the Ark-La-Tex VW Association and the Foul Air Nomads will host “Beetles on the Boulevard” for area collectors, enthusiasts and fans. The show will take place at 4304 Texas Boulevard to benefit the Bearded Sinners Beard Club of Texas’s continued efforts to help the local homeless community with a warm clothing drive.
Downtown at the Front Street Plaza on Saturday, September 18, from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm (OR SOLD OUT) will be the biggest food truck event Texarkana has seen as more than 40 vendors compete, as it will be Texarkana Versus Little Rock. There will be flavors you’ve never had before, and if you leave this thing hungry… well, there’s no excuse for that.
