    Fatal Shooting on E. 24th St. Under Investigation in Texarkana

    On the evening of Monday, August 12, 2024, at approximately 8:20 PM, officers from the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department responded to a tragic shooting in the 2500 block of E. 24th St. Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate efforts by TAPD officers and Texarkana Arkansas Fire Department (TAFD) personnel to administer life-saving measures, the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries.

    The victim has been identified as Marious L. Bradley, 17.

    Detectives from the Crime Scene Investigation Division quickly arrived on the scene to begin a thorough investigation. As of now, no suspects have been identified, and the investigation remains ongoing.

    TAPD extends its deepest sympathies to the victim’s family and the community affected by this heartbreaking incident. Anyone with information related to the shooting is urged to contact Detective Easley with the TAPD Criminal Investigation Division at 903-798-3154.
